Balinea Holiday Home was lovingly renovated in May 2024 by its German-Indonesian owners. Authentic Alang Alang roofs, lush tropical greenery, and vibrant Balinese colours create an atmosphere that is both exotic and deeply welcoming.
At its heart lies a stunning 16-metre shared pool — a centrepiece of calm set within beautifully landscaped tropical gardens.

"Everything about Balinea was just PERFECT. I honestly don't know what other word fits this place better.
I booked the suite room through Agoda, and the moment I arrived I was greeted by one of the staff, Putu. All the staff were incredibly warm and kind, including Bli Putu and Mbok Yuni.
The whole place smells like woven rattan in the best way. It feels exactly like the kind of Balinese villa I imagined when I was a kid. Truly a hidden gem. Clean, tidy, and very homey. The jacuzzi was great, super comfortable for long soaks, and it even had a setting where you can choose to turn the bubbles on or off. Our suite was also really spacious, and it even had an outdoor dining area near the jacuzzi. They provided a microwave, a sink for washing dishes, and a fridge, which made everything even more convenient. There was also a two-section wardrobe, so no worries if you bring a lot of clothes. The room also had a TV with Netflix — a nice touch for relaxing at night. AND they actually provide guling too! 😭👍🏻
The bathroom was semi-outdoor, with the shower area slightly open and surrounded by greenery. It still felt very safe because it is fully within the private villa area. Just a really nice touch that made the whole experience feel even more relaxing and tropical.
Our room was located near the kitchen, so it was easy to refill water from the dispenser. The communal kitchen was also super useful — stove, tea and coffee, even a coffee machine that guests can use anytime. The wifi was fast. Like actually fast. If you need to work while staying here, this place is more than good enough for that.
Every time we were about to head out, the staff would kindly ask if we wanted the room cleaned. Their service was genuinely top tier. We felt completely at home. Even when we accidentally left a package behind, they were very responsive and helped us find it immediately.
Oh, and one of my favourite parts — there were two cats that liked to stop by our room just to walk around or sunbathe. The one with the pink collar was especially adorable. 🐱
This villa is honestly unforgettable. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. If I come back to Bali, I am definitely staying at Balinea again. 😭👍🏻✨"
